Requesting to record subordinates competencies
Select the “Employee Code” hyperlink, in the “Select Subordinates to Request Competency” page.
The “Request to Record Subordinates Competencies” page appears.
The system displays the following details about the employee selected in the previous page
Date Format |
The date format that is applicable to the login user. |
Employee |
The name and unique code of the employee. The system displays the employee code selected in the “Select Employee to Record Competency” page. |
Maximum Level |
The maximum competency level set in the process parameters for competencies. |
Employee Type |
The employee type to which he belongs. For example, employee type can be “Contract” /”Consultant”/”Regular”/Temporary etc; |
Request Status |
The request status is displayed as any one of the following:

Pending With |
The code and name of the employee with whom the change request of the employee is pending. |
Effective From |
The date from which the corresponding version of the record was in effect. |
Authorizer Remarks |
The remarks made by the authorizer |
The “Competency Details ” multiline displays the competencies already mapped to the subordinate, if any
Enter the following in the “Competency Details” multiline
Competency Code |
The code of the competency. Help available. |
Competency Description |
The description of the competency. |
Minimum Desired Level |
A number to indicate the minimum desired level of this competency. Tell me more |
Possessed Level |
The level to which the employee is proficient in the competency. Possessed level reflects actual competency level of the employee as per HR records. |
Valid From |
The date from which the competency information will be in effect. |
Valid Till |
The date till which the competency information will be in effect. |
Record Status |
The status of the competency assigned to the employee. The status can be one of the following:

Enter remarks if any, in the “Supervisor Remarks” field. Select the icon next to this field, to enter additional details.
Modification Option |
From the drop-down list box, select any one of the following modification option.

New Effective From |
Enter the new date from which the changes should come into effect. |
Select the “Save Request” pushbutton to save the request, or
Select the “Delete Request” pushbutton to cancel the request.
Note: If the modification option selected is “Update”, you must specify a new effective date from which a new version will be created in which the changes made will be updated
To view the status of authorization
After you save the request and revisit this page later, the system will display the following fields below the multiline.
